Work Highlights

Mr. Xu Yu is the director of the management committee and senior partner of Beijing Hylands Law Firm. He is also the partner-in-charge of the Dispute Resolution Department and the Bankruptcy Reorganization and Special Assets Disposal Department of Hylands Law Firm.

As the director of the firm's management committee, Mr. Xu is responsible for the operation and management of the firm, the drafting and formulation of the firm's policies and systems, the coordination of the firm's administrative, financial, human resources and marketing work, as well as the unified management and coordination of the work of the firm's branch offices across the country. At the same time, Mr. Xu is also in charge of the firm's financial work, mainly responsible for the approval of the annual budget, the development of financial management system and the national integration of tax planning.

As the partner-in-charge of the firm's Dispute Resolution Department, Mr. Xu leads the firm's largest team, including 10 partners and 40 associates and assistants. In the field of dispute resolution, Mr. Xu has provided services to many large state-owned enterprises, well-known groups of companies, institutions, and overseas investment enterprises. Relying on professional legal knowledge and in-depth and unique understanding of the business environment and business rules, Mr. Xu is committed to providing comprehensive and efficient legal solutions for each case and each client.

Mr. Xu single-handedly set up the "Bankruptcy Reorganization and Special Assets Disposition Department", which has rapidly become the core business department of the Hylands Law firm. Currently, the Department has 30 partners and more than 100 associates and assistants, which is the fastest growing business department in the firm. Mr. Xu is responsible for the coordination and integration of the entire practice group, theoretical research and market development, as well as facilitating the registration of insolvency representatives at all court levels in branches of the country. At the same time, Mr. Xu focuses on "bankruptcy reorganization and special assets disposal", and in the enterprise bankruptcy reorganization cases, Mr. Xu has acted as the insolvency representative, the legal advisor of the financial debt committee, the legal advisor of the creditors, the legal advisor of the reorganizer, as well as the legal advisor of the government, which enables him to provide excellent legal services to clients during the whole process of bankruptcy and reorganization.
