Dispute Resolution

Mr. Deng worked at the Beijing Arbitration Commission before joining the legal compliance department of a first-class domestic securities company, where he was responsible for the company's major litigation disputes, and obtained extensive practical experience in compliance management and dispute resolution for financial institutions. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Deng has represented well-known financial institutions such as CITIC Securities, China Securities, Guotai Junan Securities, Huatai Securities, Huatai United Securities, Guangfa Securities, Galaxy Securities, China Development Bank Securities, Agricultural Bank, Construction Bank, CITIC Bank, Bank of Beijing, Pudong Development Bank, Hengfeng Bank and others in major commercial disputes, and has assisted clients to properly handle financial disputes such as securities misrepresentation, asset management and ABS, major equity and bond investments, financial consumer appropriateness obligations, employee moral risks, etc, with a cumulative case amount of tens of billions of RMB. In addition, Mr. Deng has also repeatedly represented listed companies, their directors, supervisors and senior management personnel, private equity funds and quantitative investment institutions in responding to regulatory investigations and sanctions by CSRC concerning false statements, insider trading and securities market manipulation, and possesses extensive practical experience in the relevant fields.

Mr. Deng has systematic research and understanding on the civil liability of financial institutions, and has provided professional training to relevant organizations for many times. He has also served as a trainer for mediators of the China Securities Association and the Association of Inter-bank Market Dealers. He was the major author of the China Securities Association's research projects such as "Research on the Civil Liability and Risk Prevention of False Statements of Underwriters under Bond Default Scenarios", "Research on the Civil Liability of Issuers and Intermediaries Under the IPO Registration System", and "Research on the Legal Problems, Risks, and Prevention of the Custody of Securities Company's Private Equity Funds", which won the Securities Association of China's outstanding award in 2019, 2020 and 2023. Mr. Deng and his team co-authored the 2020 major topic of the Supreme People's Court, “Research on Legal Issues in the Trial of Business Trust Dispute”, which has been successfully completed.
