Bill Long, a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice, focuses on patent and other intellectual property and technology-related disputes. He has tried and arbitrated cases involving a range of technology and intellectual property issues. Bill has served as lead counsel in patent litigation involving a range of intellectual property and technology issues, including, patent disputes involving computer software and hardware, pharmaceutical products (including Hatch-Waxman cases), chemicals, medical devices, industrial machines, and consumer products. He is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. Bill counsels clients on a variety of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret issues, including intellectual property strategy, portfolio management, and licensing issues.
