Virginie Dor is head of the public law department of CMS Belgium since 2015. Over the years, she has specialised in the legal support of large-scale public projects (public procurement, PPP, concessions). From September 2022, she will be the head of the CMS' global public procurement practice.
Virginie advises contracting authorities and companies in all sectors in both advisory and litigation matters. Virginie handles cases and litigates in French, Dutch and English before national and international Courts.
Virginie has been appointed for the second time as an expert in the European Commission's Expert Group on Public Procurement. This is a group whose mission is to provide the Commission with high quality legal, economic or technical advice and/or to share practical vision and specific expertise in order to assist the European Commission in the development of EU public procurement policy.
Finally, Virginie is also a member of the Board of WILL (Women in Law and Leadership) where she has been actively training and coaching young women lawyers for almost 10 years.
