Tram Nguyen advises private equity funds, credit funds, hedge funds, venture funds and other investment funds on all aspects of fund formation, fund structuring and capital raising. She has extensive experience representing asset managers and financial institutions on complex regulatory matters, including registration, examinations and reporting requirements. Additionally, Tram was the inaugural branch chief of the Private Funds Branch at the SEC Division of Investment Management in Washington DC, where she served from 2010 to 2013. At the SEC, she led the development and implementation of new rules under the Dodd-Frank and JOBS acts for private fund advisers.
