Tomasz Sancewicz is a Partner and highly experienced attorney-at-law in the CMS Employment Team. He has been co-operating with CMS since 2006.
Tomasz specialises in labour law. On a day-to-day basis, he helps international and regional corporations stay compliant with Polish employment regulations. He advises clients on all employment-related issues, such as hiring structures, working time, salary structures, internal by-laws etc.
Tomasz advises on restructuring, redundancies, individual terminations, dismissal strategies and structures. He helps to negotiate and draft settlement packages and documentation. He assists clients in bullying cases, forensic investigations and other compliance-related employment issues. Moreover, his experience includes advising on staff matters in corporate deals and coordinating employment issues relating to transactional work.
Tomasz is co-author of the book on compliance „Systemy zarządzania zgodnością - compliance w praktyce”. He also frequently contributes legal articles to Poland’s daily newspaper “Rzeczpospolita” where he comments on various aspects of Polish and EU employment law.
