Career
Tetyana Dovgan is a Corporate/M&A Partner in the Kyiv office of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang and a member of the CMS international private equity team.
Tetyana has a regional role and advises on complex JVs, cross-border private equity and M&A transactions throughout CEE/CIS, Europe and beyond. She has led some of the highest-profile English law-governed deals in Ukraine and many other countries (recent experience includes deals in the UK, Mexico, Cyprus, Poland, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, and Kazakhstan).
Tetyana’s experience includes advising Air Products on the establishment of a joint venture with ArcelorMittal for the construction of a major air separation unit; EBRD on the acquisition of a minority stake in the Lviv M10 industrial park project; Vodafone Ukraine and Neqsol Holding on the acquisition of Vega Telecom; on major port joint venture transactions with DP World and P&O Maritime; EBRD, AB Invalda INVL and Horizon Capital on their acquisition of a 41.09% stake in B.C. Moldova Agroindbank S.A, Moldova’s largest commercial bank; on the USD 100 million joint venture with Cargill for the construction of a grain terminal in Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Yuzhny; EBRD on the acquisition of a minority stake in Zabka, one of Poland’s leading food retailers, from CVC Capital Partners.
Tetyana is ranked by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and other major international and local legal directories, with clients remarking that she is “has a strategic thinking and vision of the deal” and is “extremely commercial in her approach”.
