A partner in the Commercial Real Estate practice, Sylvie advises public and private clients on the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, project development and joint ventures for a wide range of commercial, retail, office, industrial, multi-residential and condo properties. Her clients range from high-profile REITS to pension funds, as well as real estate developers and managers. A frequent writer and speaker, she regularly gives conferences on real estate topics and presides various events in real estate. She gives back to the community by teaching the real estate law portion of the Real Estate Management Certification Course at the John Molson School of Business and the Urban Development Institute of Québec (IDU). Sylvie serves as director of the Urban Development Institute of Québec and is a member of its Governance Committee. She is a board member of L'Unité de travail pour l'implantation de logement étudiant (UTILE), the only social economy enterprise that specializes in student housing across Québec. She also is a board member of the Little Brothers Foundation. She is an active member of CREW M, an association that promotes, supports and recognizes the success of women in commercial real estate.
