A dual-qualified (Scotland/England) commercial real estate partner, Steven is one of only a few lawyers in Scotland genuinely active in both the English and Scottish markets and heads up our real estate offering in Scotland.

He helps corporate clients with a range of non-contentious property related matters across a number of sectors north and south of the border, including real estate investments, disposals, developments, asset management and corporate transactions involving many asset classes.

Steven has considerable experience advising clearing banks, international banks and alternative lenders, as well as borrowers, on all aspects of real estate finance transactions.

He also leads our Scottish energy team advising lenders, developers and investors in connection with clean energy projects involing a number of technologies including on-shore and offshore wind, solar, biomass, energy from waste, battery storage, hydro and hydrogen.
