Stephen is a veteran trial lawyer and economist focusing on complex commercial and regulatory matters, particularly involving economic and statistical analysis. In 30 years of practice, Stephen has first-chair experience in more than 30 trials and arbitrations, over 10 state and federal appeals, and more that 30 emergency hearings for injunctive relief. Stephen serves as Chair of Dentons Audit Committee (2018-present) and has served on the Associate Development Committee since 2011.
Complementing his legal practice, Stephen is dedicated to scholarly pursuits, particularly in the field of economics. In addition to lecturing at various schools, since 1996 he has consistently served as an adjunct professor at St. Louis University, teaching courses in Intermediate Microeconomic Theory and Law and Economics. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Stephen served as a law clerk to Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
