Steve is a Partner in the Corporate group in our London office and Head of our UK PLC Advisory Team. He advises corporate clients and investment banks on corporate finance transactions, principally mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, and on IPOs and secondary fundraisings, as well as advising listed companies on their ongoing regulatory obligations and corporate governance matters.

Steve spent two years on secondment at the Takeover Panel early in his career where he advised on numerous high-profile offers both recommended and hostile. In addition to advising bidders, targets and investment banks on public company takeovers and other transactions subject to the Takeover Code, he now regularly presents and writes articles on the subject of public company takeovers in the UK and sits on the ICAEW corporate finance faculty committee which reviews proposed amendments to the Takeover Code.
