Mr. Rovak’s career began as an officer in the 82d Airborne Division. After leaving active duty, he began representing Fortune 100 corporations in distribution and contract disputes, biotechnology concerns in disputes over the sale of facilities and technology, and has tried cases for such businesses in disputes over product distribution practices and antitrust concerns. He has represented firms in such diverse industries as insurance, securities and franchising in class actions as both plaintiff and defendant, and successfully defended major film production companies and their principals in copyright litigation.
