Sophie Marquet

Sophie Marquet is one of the founding partners of CMS Monaco and head of the Real Estate & Construction team, as well as head of the Employment team with about 17 years of experience.

On the real estate front, Sophie leads a strong practice focused on all matters having an underlying real estate asset, both in litigation and counselling contexts. She provides advice to Monegasque and international clients, including investors, landlords and tenants for both commercial and residential real estate, as well as owners for their renovation and construction projects, including getting necessary condominium authorizations. She also assists property developers in real estate audits. The team led by Sophie is also present in urbanistic matters.

Regarding her employment expertise, Sophie offers employers litigation and strategic advice on all matters relating to handling labour relations (assessing termination options and settlements, drafting tailored employment contracts, setting complex remuneration packages and incentives, addressing non-compete and non-solicit matters, securing confidentiality agreements). She also assists employers with collective relations with staff representatives and unions in particular in employment-related matters arising from mergers, acquisitions, sales and restructuring operations.
