Simon is an expert of EU and competition law. Simon is chairman of the Board of Directors of Bech-Bruun and is, together with the other Board members, in charge of the overall and strategic management of Bech-Bruun. In recent years, together with the Executive Management, Simon has as Chief Executive Partner headed several organisational and strategic changes that have strengthened Bech-Bruun's market position.

As former head of Bech-Bruun's EU and Competition Law department, Simon has in-depth experience in strategic advisory services within all aspects of competition law, including merger control, abuse issues, cartels and syndicates as well as the authorities' handling of matters relative to the EU Commission and the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority.

Simon advises particularly on complex EU law matters and has in-depth knowledge of competition law, state aid law and procurement law issues. He is a sought-after legal adviser among Danish and international clients in connection with advice on strategic market positioning, particularly in regulated markets with limited commercial freedom of action on the part of the clients. Simon is highly experienced in attending to clients' interests before the Nordic as well as EU authorities and in litigation before the Danish courts and the EU courts.
