Shehan has experience in advising on a wide range of technology and software contracts, including new launches of technology offerings.

He has a clear understanding of the key legal issues in commercial contracts and has experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial and technology agreements, including enterprise software licensing, SaaS, and information technology outsourcing across a range of sectors, including particularly within the financial services sector.

Shehan previously worked at a global financial software and services provider for six years, advising on software licensing, SaaS, maintenance and development agreements. During his time at Eversheds Sutherland, he has also been seconded to one of the largest insurance brokers in the UK and separately to the largest life insurance provider in the UK. Shehan is used to working collaboratively with in-house legal teams and key stakeholders to deliver client excellence.
