Sassa was appointed Silk on 24 March 2025. Sassa ’s practice will continue to focus on all aspects of financial remedy proceedings, including pre and post-nuptial settlements, Part III and variation applications, and Schedule 1 applications. She has a particular expertise in cases involving non-disclosure, complex company structures and assets held in multiple jurisdictions. She has appeared in both the Court of Appeal: Ravendark Holdings Ltd v Rotenberg & Ors [2021] EWCA Civ 1661 and Des Pallieres v Des Pallieres [2021] EWCA Civ 955, and in the Supreme Court in Mills v Mills [2018] UKSC 38. Her approach has been described as “robust” and “a fearless advocate” but always underpinned by the willingness to give unwelcome advice to her own clients. Sassa acted in two important reported judgments in 2024, TK v LK [2024] EWFC 71 acting for the applicant father in Schedule 1, and DH v RH [2024] EWFC 79, a financial remedy application.
