Practice Areas

Sarah is a partner in Davies’ Corporate practice with a focus on fund formation and mergers & acquisitions. She regularly acts for sponsors of and investors in private equity, venture capital, debt and other closed-end funds and assists clients on a variety of transactions, including private equity and venture capital fund formation, startup financing, mergers & acquisitions and compensation and governance arrangements. She works with clients in a number of industries, including the private equity, venture, and technology sectors. Sarah is a former adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she teaches Financing Technological Innovation as part of the Global Professional Master of Laws program in Innovation, Law and Technology. She is a member of the Young Professionals Committee, a sub-committee of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association.
