Ryan Ketchum

For 25 years, Ryan has focused on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects worldwide. He has acted for governments, sponsors, lenders, development finance institutions, and others on energy and infrastructure projects in more than 40 countries. He is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to the development and financing of infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships. He serves as the editor of Africa Projects, a resource centre and blog devoted to those topics and recently co-authored Understanding Energy Storage, the sixth book in a series that has been translated into a number of languages.

Recent matters include advising on the development of a large nuclear power project, utility scale solar and wind projects, policy matters related to carbon capture storage and utilization, mini-grids and other forms distributed generation and storage, and the privatization of a state-owned utility.
