Acted as national or regional coordinating counsel for coverage issues and litigation arising out of mass torts (e.g. childhood sex abuse) and natural disasters (earthquakes, wildfires, etc.). Tried numerous insurance-related matters in state and federal courts, including class actions on the merits. Briefed and argued numerous appellate matters in nearly all California district courts of appeal, the California Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
