Practice Areas
Rebecca is a Managing Partner, specialising in financial divorce settlements and child law. Sometimes, she even works on these in tandem, for example, in disputes over school fees.
Rebecca advises her clients both in Court and also in negotiations and mediation, frequently advising ‘behind-the-scenes' for those wanting to negotiate their settlement directly. She often works alongside forensic accountants to investigate complicated financial affairs – sometimes with international issues. This allows her to provide independent business valuations to prompt a swift resolution.
Rebecca is often instructed in child law cases that include children with additional needs. Her child law matters often include parental alienation, coercive control, narcissism, allegations of abuse, and when parents cannot reach an agreement.
Career
Rebecca studied Law at the University of Hull and gained a post-graduate diploma in Law from the College of Law in Chester.
She originally qualified as a commercial litigation solicitor before later re-training as a family law solicitor at a Top 40 national law firm.
Rebecca led the opening of Stowe Family Law’s Birmingham office in 2018 and is now the Managing Partner at our other West Midlands offices.
