Charlotte Newman

Charlotte Newman is a Partner at our Leeds law office. She practices in all aspects of family law but specialises in divorce and child law matters.

Charlotte graduated from Leeds University with first-class honours in Law in 2013. The following year, Charlotte finished her LPC and received distinctions in every subject.

She was diagnosed with cancer during her final year of university. She’s now in remission and was appointed an ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust. As the public face of the Trust, she has spoken in numerous schools in Leeds about her experience and also spoke to an audience of over 5,000 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Charlotte is a member of Resolution.

When she’s not working, Charlotte spends her time fundraising and speaking at events for the Teenage Cancer Trust and other charities. She has been recognised for her efforts in the community – winning “Female Personality of the Year” at a local awards ceremony and being nominated for the Yorkshire Young Achiever award.

Charlotte also enjoys trying the latest restaurants, spending time with friends, and writing poetry.
