Emma Newman is a Managing Partner, specialising in complex financial disputes. Especially matters with substantial income and capital, trust and business assets, plus international aspects.
She also works on assisting clients going through separation proceedings, whether that be divorce, civil partnership dissolution, or unmarried couples. Emma works on child arrangement orders with complex factors, like substance abuse, mental health issues, and domestic violence, and applications by grandparents.
She also advises on prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.
Career
Emma graduated with a degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University and stayed to study for her Legal Practice Course. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1999, she joined a Surrey law firm and has exclusively practised family law since.
Before joining Stowe Family Law, Emma was Deputy Head at a successful family law department, with the firm ranking in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
Personal
Emma enjoys cooking, particularly cake making and decorating. She also likes to travel, going to the theatre, and art.
