Laura Stocks is a Senior Associate who specialises in complex financial remedy disputes and the enforcement of orders. She successfully represented the client in the case H v W [2023] EWFC 120 – a case concerning an application under the infrequently used Thwaite jurisdiction.
She also has knowledge of conduct allegations, applications for freezing orders, and non-disclosure/ hidden assets.
Laura has experience in Child Act proceedings, especially allegations of serious sexual harm and parental alienation – including fact finds. She also drafts prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.
Laura graduated in 2010 and went on to complete her GDL and LPC, achieving commendation. She began working at a specialist family law firm in 2011 and qualified in 2015.
Laura is a member of Resolution.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys cake decorating, travelling, and looking after her pet rabbits.
