Rajib is the Global Head of Asset Management at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and Co-Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office. He is the world’s leading outside counsel (as measured by number of funds and assets under management) pioneering expanded access to private markets for individual investors.

Rajib leads Simpson Thacher’s Registered Funds practice and is a go-to counsel across each major private markets asset class, giving him a uniquely holistic view of the asset management industry. He has launched investment products for the following firms, among many others: in private equity, Blackstone, Brookfield, Carlyle, CVC, EQT, KKR, TPG and Vista; in secondaries, Coller, HarbourVest, Lexington, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley; in infrastructure, Apollo, Blackstone, EQT, I Squared, KKR, Macquarie and Stonepeak; in private credit, Apollo, Audax Credit, Bain Capital, Benefit Street, Blackrock, Blackstone, Carlyle, Golub, HPS, New Mountain, Silver Point and TPG Angelo Gordon; and in real estate, BlackRock, Blackstone, Blue Owl, Clarion, Cohen & Steers, KKR, Principal and Starwood Capital.
