Carleigh Rodriquez is Co-Head of Simpson Thacher’s Environmental Practice. Carleigh advises private equity and corporate clients on environmental issues arising in the full array of commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, securities offerings, financing transactions, bankruptcies and restructurings. Her work extends across a broad range of U.S. and international industries, from real estate, technology and commercial, to energy, infrastructure, waste, chemicals, manufacturing and other industrials. Across these transactions, Carleigh supports her clients by identifying, evaluating and managing environmental liabilities and risk, including managing environmental due diligence and consultants and negotiating environmental terms in transaction documents and environmental insurance coverage. She also provides pre-deal counseling, coordinates environmental regulatory approvals in connection with transactions and manages post-closing resolution of environmental issues. Carleigh is known for delivering practical, commercially focused advice on environmental liabilities and risk management.
