Partner. He has ample experience in national and international transactions, including securitization, structuring, derivatives, capital markets, corporate restructuring, and project finance. Former civil servant in the Ministry of Economy and Treasury, responsible for Spanish financial legislation on securities markets and credit institutions from 1995 to 1999. Civil servant on leave of absence from the High Body of State Civil Administrators.
He lectures on the Master in Business Insolvency at the CEU, and is a visiting lecturer and head of the Economic Law Department of the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Bogota.
He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Revista Capital Riesgo, the International Bar Association's Banking Law Committee, the Madrid Bar Association, and the Portugal Bar Association.
