Some of the notable real estate transactions she has been involved in include: acting as local counsel to America Tower International, Inc. in their acquisition of over 700 tower sites from Telkom Kenya. This flagship deal marked the company’s entry into the East African market; advising IFAW in its creation a wildlife corridor. This project involved 1,620 landowners ceding their land rights for the creation of the corridor and advising the Overseas Private Investment Corporation in its USD 9.6 million project financing of a housing development project.
Rachel has over 27 years transactional experience in property disposal, acquisition and development, due diligence, finance and loan securities. Her client base includes international and local companies, private clients, property developers, conservation trusts etc.
