Piotr is the managing partner of SSW. He advises enterprises from various industries. In addition to facilitating countless, complex transactions he has advised numerous entities within regulated sectors and participated in international arbitration proceedings with a value exceeding USD 1 billion.

He is a member of the board of the Warsaw Arbitration Court Lewiatan, a member of the supervisory board of the Mining Industry Employers Association, a former member of the Polish Wind Energy Association steering committee, and Senior Vice President of the Therme Group – a leading global technology company and an integrator of wellness.

◾️ Representing clients in international arbitration cases in the mining sector, involving some of the most complex and high-impact disputes in Europe

◾️ Assisting an international energy corporation in proceedings related to concessions for the exploration and extraction of gas

◾️ Providing legal advice to an international mining group as regards concessions for the exploration and identification of hard bituminous coal

◾️ Representing the Association of Mining Industry Employers (Lewiatan Confederation) in the legislative process concerning hydrocarbons and the Geology and Mining Act

◾️ Advising on the transfer of a concession to a company conducting exploration and exploitation of crude oil deposits

◾️ Representing a client in proceeding related to the reimbursement of costs paid to the protection against mining damage
