Our advice covers energy infrastructure development, including obtaining licensing and operational permits to connecting to the grid and starting trading. We represent clients in energy trading matters, including current contentious cases related to the imposed energy price cap. We cover power purchasing agreements, which is a new but exponentially growing area in Poland and the EU. Additionally, we cover geological and mining regulatory issues in the natural resources sector as well as regulatory advice for onshore and offshore wind farms.
We are regularly instructed on high-impact and high-value transactions in the sector that include the transfer of energy assets as well as financing. Our project finance expertise in the energy sector is unmatched. We are proud to have advised Baltic Power on one of the biggest renewables project financings ever in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe (EUR 4.73 billion, 25 financing institutions involved) that won multiple awards from legal publications.
