Marcin leads SSW’s Labour Law practice. He has over 15 years’ professional experience. Marcin specialises in advising on both individual and collective labour law. He advises clients on selecting optimal forms of employment, designing and implementing corporate labour law regulations, structuring, reorganising and reducing employment. He also advises on labour law issues which arise during restructurings and M&A transactions.
He is also experienced in corporate law. He advises clients on complex issues regarding the structure and internal organization of enterprises, implementing and enforcing corporate governance principles, the status, employment and liability of the members of governing bodies and management staff. He provides ongoing advice on relocating employees to Poland and legalising their residence and employment in Poland. He represents clients in labour law disputes, during both the pre-court and litigation stages. He conducts workshops on labour law for corporate management boards and management staff. Marcin’s clients include entities which have a variety of ownership structures and which operate in numerous business sectors (inc: IT, new technologies, production, FMCG).

◾️ Advised Polpharma on due diligence analysis of compliance anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing procedures; conducted trainings on preventing discrimination and mobbing at workplace

◾️ Advised Schlumberger Poland on implementation of home office regulations
◾️ Advised Optima Logistics Group, leading Polish transport, freight forward and logistics company, on the implementation of a number of new regulations in the area of labor law (remote work, implementation of new EU directives on information obligations and so-called work-life balance)
◾️ Advised Vaillant Saunier Duval on ongoing legal and labor consulting. Advised on the organisation and start-up of a global IT HUB located in Poland. Reviewing and updating company regulations
◾️ Advised Arriva on labour law and numerous projects regarding collective labour law; collective redundancies following a restructuring; a collective dispute involving employees’ payment demands and “difficult” employment terminations
◾️ Advised GFT Group on ongoing HR-related support; advising on preparing templates for employment contracts and B2B contracts that include extensive IP-related clauses; advising on drafting and amending internal regulations (workplace rules, remuneration rules, social benefits fund)
◾️ Advised EWORK Group on developing draft contracts for employees, business partners and contractors
