Career
Prof. Marcin Asłanowicz is the President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Confederation Lewiatan. His professional practice involves handling litigation and arbitration, as well as resolving disputes as an arbitrator.
Before joining SSW, he worked in leading law firms for 25 years (specialising in M&A until 2007, and in litigation and arbitration since 2007).
Independent international rankings since 2014 have recognised Marcin in categories such as:
Ranked Lawyer Dispute Resolution (Chambers Europe); Ranked Lawyer Arbitration (Chambers Europe) and Recommended Lawyer Dispute Resolution (Legal 500).
He is the author of more than 60 academic publications, including 4 monographs and 3 commentaries.
He graduated in law from the University of Warsaw and gained doctoral and doctor habilitatus degrees at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Subsequently, he became a Professor at SWPS University.

◾️ Representing a global consulting firm in disputes before Polish common courts with minority shareholders arising from an allegedly defectively calculated share exchange ratio in a merger of energy companies (PLN 600 M)
