Corporate & Finance - Cayman Islands
This content is provided by Philip Paschalides
Philip is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office and is a partner in the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Group. Philip specialises in debt capital market issuances, securitisations and structured products, including CLNs/repackagings, CLOs, catastrophe bonds, insurance-linked securities and bespoke structured transactions. Over the years, Philip has acted on a number of "pathfinder" transactions, developing structured finance technology which has since become market standard; some of this has been employed recently in the loyalty financing transactions executed by various large US airlines affected by the COVID-19 pandemic on which Walkers acted as Cayman Islands counsel.
