Péter Köves, founding partner of Lakatos, Köves & Partners, is a distinguished trial lawyer and arbitrator with over three decades of experience in litigation, banking, and complex financial transactions.
Graduated summa cum laude from Eötvös Loránd University, he was an equity partner at Clifford Chance for more than 15 years before leading Lakatos, Köves & Partners. Péter played a pioneering role in introducing innovative banking treaties and public-private partnership projects in Hungary, notably the award-winning M5 and M6 motorway developments.
