John Fenemore is a partner and co-head of the Banking and Finance Group at Lakatos, Köves & Partners.
He is qualified in both England and Hungary and has extensive experience in cross-border banking and capital markets transactions, with a focus on sovereign and quasi-sovereign lending, ECA-backed financings, trade and real estate finance, margin lending, restructuring, and financial regulation. John trained and worked in the banking group of Clifford Chance in London and Bucharest between 2000 and 2016, before rejoining LKT. He holds a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland (2019) and is ranked by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, and IFLR1000 as a Highly Regarded lawyer.
John is a member of the Budapest and Bucharest Bar Associations, the Law Societies of England and Ireland, INSOL, and the IBA.
