Balázs Fazakas is a partner and head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group and also plays a key role in the Corporate and M&A teams.
He joined Lakatos, Köves & Partners in 2010 after graduating summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Balázs is recognised for his innovative and strategic approach to dispute resolution, corporate litigation, and restructuring matters. He is a qualified ICC Arbitrator and serves as organiser and judge of the annual Budapest Willem C. Vis Pre-Moot (International Commercial Arbitration Moot), as well as a mentor to the next generation of litigators.
Balázs leads the majority of the firm’s dispute resolution mandates and numerous M&A transactions.
He is ranked by Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 and regularly appears before both Hungarian and international courts and arbitration tribunals.
