Paul is a partner and a construction and engineering law specialist. He advises clients including major institutional lenders, investment funds, developers, housebuilders, contractors, engineering companies, fabricators, consultants and charities; operating in various sectors including the leisure, hotel, office, retail, health, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure and public work sectors. In addition to advising on the construction and engineering aspects of transactions, and preparing the necessary documentation, he deals with issues that arise during building and engineering projects, acting for parties in adjudications, mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court and the Court of Appeal.
Paul began his career at Nicholson Graham and Jones (now K & L Gates); before joining Taylor Wessing and finally IBB Solicitors as a partner in 2007.
Paul is Secretary of the London Constructing Excellence Club, member of the Society of Construction Law and Chairman of IBB Charitable Trust.
Paul has a BEng in Structural and Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol; and attended the College of Law, qualifying as a solicitor in 1996.
