Practice Areas

Adam, partner and head of the Reading office, specialises in corporate finance work, including mergers and acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs, private equity transactions (acting for management and investment entities), restructurings, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and general company law. Adam works on large, high-profile and complex transactions across numerous business sectors. Clients range from SMEs to multi-nationals and listed companies. Recent deal highlights include acting for the shareholders of Resourcing Solutions Limited on the disposal to Matchtech PLC, advising the management team of Sabio Limited on the £50 million MBO backed by Lyceum Capital Partners and advising the UK subsidiary of the Celli Group on its acquisition of Angram Limited.

  

Career

Adam trained and qualified at Linklaters in 1995, before joining Charles Russell in London. Adam then moved to the Thames Valley market, joining Clarkslegal as a partner in 2004. He has also worked as a corporate finance partner for Pitmans and Shoosmiths in Reading. Adam joined IBB in April 2016.

  

Personal

Education: Exeter University, Guildford College of Law (LLB Hons). Adam lives just outside Newbury and enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and tennis. Adam is a member of the MCC.
