Patricia acts on many of Canada’s most complex M&A, shareholder activism and capital markets transactions across all sectors. She has extensive experience advising boards of directors, special committees and activist shareholders on corporate governance matters, proxy contests and transactions. She also specializes in public market derivatives, the development of innovative structured debt and equity products. She is an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School teaching Advanced M&A. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Securities Commission, former adviser to the chair of the OSC and past chair of the OSC’s Securities Advisory Committee. She is vice-chair of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, vice-chair of the Royal Ontario Museum Foundation Board and former president of the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association.
