Owain has extensive experience in heavy commercial litigation, focussing on competition, fraud and company law. As regards competition, Owain has particular experience in serious Article 101 infringements (cartels) and Article 102 claims, most notably in financial and technology markets and regulated industries. His commercial experience encompasses injunctions, fraud claims under foreign law and appellate work. Recent cases have included Coll v Alphabet Inc [2023] CAT 47 (Google Play); Tatneft v Bogolyubov [2021] EWHC 411 (fraud), Phones 4U v EE [2021] 1 WLR 3270 (CA, disclosure), Floreat v Churchill [2022] EWHC 357 (fraud) and Halliburton v Chubb [2020] UKSC 48 (SC, apparent bias).
