Noah is a partner in Freshfields’ International Arbitration Group in Paris where he heads the global CIS/Russia dispute resolution practice. With over two decades of experience in investment and commercial arbitration, he has advised and represented clients as counsel in more than 100 arbitrations under ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, ICC, AAA, SCC, VIAC, LCIA, ICAC, and UNCITRAL rules, including some 45 investment treaty arbitrations.
Having practiced law in New York, Washington, Houston, Istanbul and Paris, Noah has also served as an arbitrator in over 50 cases involving shareholder disputes, infrastructure, financial services, energy and natural resources, as well as in investment disputes.

Originally admitted in New York and Texas, Noah was called to the English Bar in 2018 and appointed King’s Counsel in March 2020. He was admitted to the Paris bar as Avocat à la Cour in 2021.
Noah is the author of dozens of publications on international arbitration, including two leading reference works: Investment Treaty Arbitration (Oxford, 2d ed. 2019) and International Investment, Political Risk and Dispute Resolution (Oxford, 2d ed. 2020).
