Florian is a partner in and head of the Vienna global transactions practice. He specialises in banking and finance, with a focus on debt financing products (including acquisitions, real estate and projects) as well as special situations and restructurings/insolvency. Florian also has a select regulatory (banking/payments) practice and advises corporates and financial institutions in ESG related matters, transactions and governance issues.

Career

Florian joined Freshfields in 2004, and has been a partner since 2013. Previously, he worked for the Austrian Financial Market Authority.
