Nicolás is a project document and regulatory focused lawyer. He acts representing lenders and investors in all legal tasks regarding projects in Argentina, including development (land rights, permitting, filings, bidding procedures, procurement), construction (EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply contracts, among others), contracting (PPA and offtake was well as feedstock agreements), regulatory compliance and O&M (service agreements, shared-facility agreements, among others).

During the past years he has worked in dozens of electricity matters (including, development aspects, corporate PPA, construction of thermal, wind, solar and biomass power plants, financings, M&A, inter alia) involving more than 12.000 MW.

Nicolás has also significant experience in the natural gas business, having served as an independent member of the Board of Metrogas, Argentina’s main natural gas distribution utility.

Mr. Eliaschev has been a partner at the Firm since 2015.

He holds an MSc Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and graduated as lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires.

Nicolás is also a Professor of Administrative Law, and Investment and Regulation Law at the Universidad de San Andrés and a Professor of Energy Law at the MSc of Energy taught at the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
