Career:
Nicola Heslop joined Freeths in February 2016. Following completion of her training contract with Freeths, Nicola qualified into the Private Client Dispute Resolution team.
Nicola has over six years’ pre-qualification experience in civil disputes, including working on the Post Office group litigation matter. Since qualification, she has specialised solely in Private Wealth Disputes.
Nicola divides her time between Freeths' Leeds and Sheffield offices, supporting Director, Carla Rist. Nicola also works with and supports the firm's national team.
Nicola has experience of working on a number of contentious trust and probate matters, Inheritance Act Claims and Court of Protection matters. With the ability to draw on her practice experience in family law, Nicola has also been involved in claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Nicola works with clients going through difficult, personal times and ensures that she supports her clients in a sympathetic, compassionate and professional manner.
