Rachel is a member of ACTAPS and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trusts Disputes. Her principal area of practice is in the field of contentious estates. Rachel has 20 years’ experience in the field of contentious trusts and probate litigation and has acted in numerous cases involving high value and complex contested estates. This also encompasses the more technically challenging cases involving assets outside of the jurisdiction, urgent Court of Protection applications and worldwide freezing injunctions.
Rachel has extensive experience of all aspects of contentious trust and probate litigation, ADR and mediation. She regularly acts for clients in mediations in order to resolve disputes. She also has a specialism in contentious Court of Protection work and is experienced in dealing with financial abuse, undue influence claims and welfare disputes.
Her experience has led to her appointment as an independent Property and Affairs Deputy, trustee and she is a Director of Freeths Trustees Ltd (Freeths Trust Corporation).
