Nigel’s specialism is acting as a trustee of and managing complex inter-generational wealth structures for private individuals, with a particular emphasis on complex trust reorganisations. Nigel acts for members of the nobility, wealthy businesspersons, sportspersons, academics and authors. He also acts for major educational institutions and landed estates. Many clients that Nigel acts for have an inter-jurisdictional or offshore aspect. Nigel acts as an independent trustee and Judicial Trustee in contentious trust and probate cases and specialist adviser in disputed trust and estate matters. Nigel also advises charities, with emphasis on constitutional matters and especially for Royal Charter bodies and Trust Corporations. He acts as a court-appointed independent administrator and Judicial Trustee in disputed trust and probate matters. He also lectures widely on tax and trust matters.
