N Todd Leishman

Todd Leishman is the President and Chairman of Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar, and is a tenured, Chambers-rated M&A lawyer with deep experience on both buy- and sell-side transactions representing private and public companies. He represents strategic and financial acquirers as well as closely and family owned business in middle market transactions. Todd has worked on many large transactions, including the largest private equity acquisition in Utah history ($2B), but frequently represents owners in sales of companies with enterprise values between $10 million and $100 million. These transactions almost always involve complicated diligence, structuring, tax, negotiation and documentation issues.

Todd also advises corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, as well as majority and minority owner groups on entity governance issues such as shareholder and partner disputes and "corporate divorces". When needed, he works closely with litigation teams in connection with corporate governance lawsuits. He also negotiates and drafts buy-sell and other shareholder agreements in closely held entities.
