Practice Areas
Mikkel Winther Løgsted is the head of our financing and insolvency group in Aarhus, Denmark, and as a consequence he has special experience in safeguarding clients' financial interests, including the collection of money claims and other assets, and he has administered a large number of bankruptcy estates. Mikkel is very experienced in administering large and complex bankruptcy estates in for instance the financial sector, the food industry and the property and construction sectors and he has also administered a significant number of bankruptcy estates where various types of fraud have been committed in the period leading up to the issue of the bankruptcy order, which means that the estate administration is subject to special requirements. Mikkel always makes sure that the estate administration is carried out in close dialogue with the creditors in order for the estate administration to be as cost-effective as possible.
Mikkel is very experienced in advising and lecturing on the collection/recovery of debt and insolvency law as he is both an external lecturer in bankruptcy law at Aarhus University and teaches at the insolvency course of the Association of Danish Law Firms (Danske Advokater).
Finally, Mikkel has experience in providing advice on general commercial law and other private law to private clients and businesses and he is a litigator in the areas of insolvency law and commercial law.
