Mike leads the firm’s White Collar + Government Investigations Practice Group, and advises clients on False Claims Act and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters, internal corporate investigations, corporate compliance programs, corporate monitorships, and First Amendment matters.
Mike has significant experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device, health care, construction, and government contracting industries. He conducts internal investigations for and defends companies and individuals in trials and litigation regarding sales and marketing practices, the conduct of clinical trials, good manufacturing practices, pricing, the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) fraud and other issues.
Mike is a former head of the Corruption, Civil Rights, Labor and Tax Fraud unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
