Career
Marlen is a partner and director of the Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation Department, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of RocaJunyent. She has a prolific international career as an expert in dispute resolution. She combines her role as a lawyer with the presidency of Women in a Legal World (an association that she also founded).
Marlen is the President of the Centro de Mediación Empresarial de Madrid (CMEM) and she holds management positions at the Council of European Lawyers, the Royal Academy of Ibero-American Jurisprudence and Legislation, and is a member of the advisory board of universities, publishing houses, arbitration courts and organisations such as Endeavor. In the educational field, she is a lecturer of arbitration and mediation at IE University, the Comillas Pontifical University, the Carlos III University and the Polytechnic University, among others.
Author of multiple publications, she has pursued senior management and leadership programs at Esade, Wharton and Harvard. Chosen as one of the 20 most relevant lawyers and as one of the 100 most influential women in Spain, in addition to being recognised by Iberian Lawyer in the InspiraLaw, Top 60 Women in the Iberian Legal Sector and Forty under 40 rankings.
