As the Head of the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring Department, Mark has acted in one capacity or another in many high-profile liquidations, receiverships and examinerships. Mark advises the country’s leading insolvency practitioners and the principal banks on all aspects of insolvency law and practice. His team has advised court appointed liquidators in over one hundred liquidations and advised the various stakeholders (directors, shareholders, creditors and banks) in many more.

Mark regularly lectures in the Law Society of Ireland and in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland on Insolvency Law. He is a founding member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners (ISIP), now known as Restructuring and Insolvency Ireland (RII), and is the immediate past chairperson of and continues to sit on RII Council. Mark had previously been chair of the sub-committee on Law Reform and a member of the Technical Committee.

Mark is also longstanding member of INSOL, the European Insolvency group, and a former member of the INSOL Technical Committee, which organises the three-day annual conference content.
